While we can post facts and statistics about donating marrow, in the end we believe the clearest and most genuine way of explaining what the process is like is from donors themselves. Over time we intend to chronicle stories on this page in hopes of better personalizing the thoughts, emotions and steps of donors undergoing the donation process.
In alignment with the rest of the site, the words of the donors on these pages are not edited or altered for content. The goal of this section is to provide genuine perspective on donating marrow, spanning both positive and not-so-positive aspects.
Please remember that the perspectives shared within this section are attributable solely to the donors themselves, and are not intended to represent an exact description of what you can expect as a bone marrow donor.
